Basic principles of yoga
Beginner/Yin is a slow gentle yoga practice that pays attention to the basic principles of yoga while quieting the mind repairing the body.
The first half of class focuses on basic yoga postures through detailed explanation of body placement and alignment. A wonderful intro for beginners as well as a refresher for the most advanced.The second half of class is the Yin yoga. Yin is a slow and quiet practice that targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and joints. The majority of Yin will be floor poses that are held for longer periods of time. This practice is will leave the practitioner feeling loose, and relaxed with a calm peace of mind.
